This course examines human physical evolution and the development of culture from pre-historic times through the present. This course emphasizes a better understanding of our culture through a comparison of different cultures; topics will include such things as linguistics, archeology, human variation & evolutionary history, political & economic anthropology, kinship, gender & human sexuality and religion.
